An overview of electromagnetism in natural and artificial materials with
simultaneous time-reversal and space-inversion symmetry breaking is
given. Experimental and numerical results of enhanced magneto-chiral
effects by a single meta-molecule at microwave frequencies are
introduced. This work opens the door to the realization of an artificial
gauge field, in other word, "magnetic field" for electromagnetic waves
and to meta-condensed-matter physics using metamaterials.
